Following my painting of Graciano's Cove, I chose the abandoned yacht at Barangay Pangil, in Currimao, Ilocos Norte to be my next subject for my plein air painting. According to some residents, the yacht which was grounded on the rocky area had a punctured engine and was abandoned on the shorelines near the town since 2010. Thus, becoming a juxtaposed sight of beautiful and solitary landscape in Currimao.

My province, Ilocos Norte has so much interesting and beautiful places to offer. Me and my friend, Daniel Ruiz started to work on the idea to do a short video series that showcases painting outdoors on various parts of Ilocos Norte. In this video, I will be doing an en plein air at Graciano's Cove. Located in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, approx. 55 km away from Laoag, it was not my first time to visit the place, but it was my first time to finally paint the view on-location. In spite of the drizzly weather that day, we are fortunate enough to be rewarded to see the sun sets on this magnificent landscape.
